Intrapreneurialism holds the key to unlocking the next wave of productivity and profitability within our workplaces and prosperity within our economy.
This global movement is being driven by intrapreneurs. Intrapreneurs are the human face and the driving force of innovation within organisations. They are the dreamers who do, the people who think and act like entrepreneurs while working as employees inside an organisation or enterprise.
Intrapreneurs are the future of innovation. This gathering will celebrate, educate and inspire the people who make change happen in many different ways and in many different contexts. We want to showcase and learn from organisations, workplaces and people leading the charge in this emerging area.
“Following on from the success of our sold out event in March 2019, we are excited to host the 2nd Australian Intrapreneurs Summit in Brisbane, 2020.”
Most conferences related to innovation usually focus on innovation within corporations or start-ups, or on one particular sector such as innovation in technology or finance.
But intrapreneurialism is alive and well in EVERY sector – government (at all levels), not-for-profit, indigenous, education, vocational, SME, farming, academic, medical, community and many others.
What makes the Australian Intrapreneurs Summit such a unique experience is that it is a forum where a very diverse range of perspectives and voices are shared. It brings together intrapreneurs from a wide variety of disciplines and sectors but who have the common purpose of creating value and positively shaping the future.
Dr Irena Yashin-Shaw founder and organiser of the Australian Intrapreneurs Summit is helping to spearhead the intrapreneurialism movement in Australia. She is Editor-in-Chief of Intrapreneur Magazine and author of Intrapreneur: How leaders break bureaucracy, ignite innovation and catalyse change.
